Lab Coordinates in a Processed Image The process of conversion from RGB to the Lab color space is determined by the profile in use. However, when using different color engines, there is some discrepancy in the way the data is translated. - Overview - White point - Chromatic Adaptation - Black Point Compensation (BPC) - Slope Limiting Profiles - Rendering Intent - Profiles based on 3D LUTs Overview When measuring colors (e.g., from patches in color chart) using readouts, the intention is to match the colors in the processed output file to the chart’s reference data. Capture One: Can not write processed image error.
Problem
When trying to process my captures I get the error message "CAN NOT WRITE PROCESSED IMAGE. THE OUTPUT FOLDER DOES NOT EXIST. THE BATCH QUEUE HAS STOPPED. CREATE A PROCESS FOLDER FOR THIS SESSION, THEN RE-ENABLE THE BATCH QUEUE'What am I doing wrong?
Solution
One of two things might have happened: When you create a session in Capture One it automatically creates a "Processed files" folder.  If, however, you rename it, delete it, or move it Capture One will lose track of it and present this message.   You could also have added a favorite in this session,...

Fuji RAW files Slow Development Times
Problem
Why does Capture One take 4 times as longer to process Fuji S2 / S3 / S5 images compared to any other camera?
Solution
This is related to the hexagonal CCD chip used by Fuji. The image is read out in a 45degree rotation so post adjustments have to be done to straiten the image.
