P20 / P25 Missing exif metadata when shooting tethered.
Problem
When shooting tethered with the P20 and P25 for Contax 645, Hasselblad H1 / H2 and Mamiya 645AFD the metadata information for shutter speed and lens setting information is missing. The data is recorded when I shoot untethered.  Why is that?
Solution
When the P20 and P25 models are used in  untethered  mode the metadata is recorded along with image data to the CF card. Because of limitations with the communications protocol this metadata is not transferred during tethered capture. The P21, P30, and P45 do not share this limitation and will tra...

How to change orientation when shooting tethered with a DSLR
Problem
When shooting straight down it is not possible for most DSLR to detect which orientation you intended for the images.  Because most DSLR do not have manual overrides it is not possible for Capture One to tell the camera which orientation to use.  Furthermore Orientation is not automatically copied to new capture because in most normal shooting scenarios this would not be desirable.  It is possible however to manually override this:
Solution
1. In Next Capture Adjustments set All Other to “Copy from Clipboard”     2. Shoot an image, make any adjustments including rotating the image 90* 3. Go to the Adjustments Clipboard and click Copy 4. Manually check the box labeled “Orientation."     5. Your next shot should rotate automatically af...
